Apple releases the iPhone SDK |

Apple, Inc. released the much anticipated Software Development Kit for the iPhone today. It is available as a free download from Apple's Developer Connection and will be included in the next iPhone 2.0 update.
Seemingly, Apple is attempting to take a stab at the Enterprise market by announcing full integration with Microsoft Exchange. This is a giant leap for Apple's mobile, however skeptics are still unsure about security when working in Enterprise environments.
Two gaming developers have already gotten their feet wet: Electronic Arts and SEGA. Both companies had about two weeks to play with the SDK. SEGA demonstrated a very cool motion sensor integration, where the User rotates the iPhone in gameplay to control a rolling ball with a monkey inside!
So the battle has begun. Android is in, Apple is in and BREW is also popular. Where has Sony been throughout all of this? How many PSP owners out there have wanted a PSP mobile phone rather than a BlueRay DVD? Well, unluckily for their competitors, Apple has very hefty financial support from venture cap firm Kleiner Perkins who have pledged $100,000,000 in Dev capital. Yes, you read that correctly.
